Bridget Ogden is a fully qualified S.V.A. trained crystal healer and an advanced Reiki practitioner. She is a graduate of The School Of The Living Light, run by Lita and Marco de Alberdi, and has worked frequently with Gill Edwards, who teaches ‘a magical blend of metaphysics, shamanism and psychology for everyday life’.

For over twenty years, Bridget has studied the spiritual disciplines and beliefs of many cultures and religions. She is a firm believer in the power of love, light and laughter. Following a very successful career teaching children with special educational needs, Bridget took early retirement in order to develop her interest in healing. She now has her own practice in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

Crystal therapy offers a gentle and powerful means of helping the body to re-create the conditions necessary for health. It is not seen as an alternative to orthodox medicine, but as a complementary discipline.

Treatments involve deep relaxation and the balancing of the body’s own energies. It is advisable to wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing. Initially, a full history of the client is taken and work is done to establish where imbalances or blockages occur. This may be done with a hand-held crystal or with a pendulum. Appropriate crystals are chosen and placed on the body at chakra points and along the meridians or pathways down which the energies flow. Crystals may also be placed over specific areas of pain with excellent effect.

The healing, of course, is free, but a charge of £30 will be made for the initial visit and £25 for each subsequent treatment. Please allow one hour for each session except for the first visit, which can take two hours.

Although it is possible to obtain benefits immediately, it is usually recommended that a course of at least three treatments be followed. This is so that the healing crisis, which sometimes results, can be managed by the practitioner.
