Hi, Niclaire here
I have studied Thai massage over the years with different teachers. There are those that have changed the traditional format and techniques to differing and varying degrees and I was dissatisfied with these adapted versions.
After studying in Thailand and looking at many of the Thai schools, including The Old Medicine School, it became clear that all practised a traditional Thai format. I studied with Chongkol Setthakorn at his International Thai Massage School in Chiang Mi. It is this that we teach.
The Devon School of Thai Bodywork was founded.

Our classes are small and friendly in a supportive environment and are made available to anyone who wishes to learn the art of Thai Massage. The content is beautiful, in all its applications and stretches – leaving nothing out – giving generous focus on pressure points.
In Thailand, the art is practised by all walks of life. Men and women of all ages, children, monks, professional practitioners and including the blind, where I had one of the best treatments of my life.
It is important to me to provide a tranquil and nurturing atmosphere in which to learn. Away from the hustle, bustle, smog and speed of cities. We welcome you to join us.
Balance is the Key
