Perhaps Trevor could be called a Student of Life, although he now calls himself “The Wizard of Wisdom.”
( Be sure to visit his website: Wizard of Wisdom )
Painful childhood experiences, including the untimely death of his mother when he was nine, led him as he grew up to search for answers to the painful questions of life. Answers that would make a difference. He sought practical wisdom, instantly usable, immediately noticeable.
Working in the British National Health Service he rose to a senior position, which afforded him not only the chance teach others the not inconsiderable skills he gained through a career spanning eighteen years, but also to put himself at the forefront of the cutting edge ideas that swept the world of psychology, sociology and therapy in the 1980’s.
He studied and practised Gestalt Therapy, Dramatherapy, Psychodrama, Art Therapy and Family Therapy, to name but a few. He attained a Diploma in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and NLP in 1988. At last he had all the tools to relieve the pain of life, and in ways that put it directly in the hands of the subjects, not the therapist.
Trevor never stops growing and learning. In 1998-9 he signed up as a participant on Anthony Robbins’ Mastery University, graduating with full honours in October ’99.
He now leads workshops in Life Management and undertakes private one-on-one and group personal development. He has written a series of self help dossiers called a “Life Repair Kit,” available on his website. His forthcoming book, “The Orgasm Paradigm” – a metaphor for life, (not a book about sex), is set to hit the headlines later in 2000.
