Channelling
Channelling is simply a means of making contact with Pure Spirit in higher dimensions, in order to receive guidance on our life issues and problems. Once a connection is made, our guide remains readily available to guide us on our life’s journey. The higher purpose of channelling is to enable us all to reach our Higher purpose for the benefit of ourselves and of all mankind.
Anyone can learn how to channel. It is a skill that requires practice – and is tremendously stimulating. There are structured courses in the U.K. It is also possible to use tape-recorded instructions, such as those produced by Duane Packer and Sanaya Roman, among others.
As in meditation, channelling requires an inner state of considerable peace and tranquillity. It is advisable to be in reasonably good health, both physically and mentally, in order to make a connection with a high-level guide – and to learn how to maintain that connection.
Making that first connection with one’s guide can be a truly uplifting and liberating experience. Soon after this occurs, it is common to experience the feeling that life is moving on and that a ‘quantum leap’ of sorts has taken place, or is about to take place. The connection itself is often verbal, but sometimes it is on a visual level, or it is merely a sensation which gives rise to great peace and contentment. My own guide assists me creatively in whatever way is required – ‘He’ is a kind of multimedia guide!
Channelling is of great use to artists, writers and musicians, in order to provide inspiration. But equally, it can be utilised just as effectively by healers, teachers – and basically anyone.
There are two points that it is important to remember. Firstly, a guide will never take away our own decision-making power. As an entity of Pure Love, they exist simply to offer guidance on the outcome of a particular question and are supportive and non-judgemental. Secondly, our own motives behind channelling, or seeking guidance from a gifted channel, must be genuine and be full of good intentions. Otherwise, the channelling will simply not work!
