Counselling

Counselling sessions include a time when the patient/client is given the opportunity to talk confidentially in a supportive, sympathetic, non-judgmental, empathic atmosphere to a qualified, experienced listener.

The aim of counselling is to help people to be independent in their thinking and actions by changing their perception of a problem. It is easy to get into a viscious circle when faced with a situation or difficulty and talking about it, finding a different way of perceiving it, can help one move out of the loop.

Counselling sessions provide a time when the person with a problem is given the opportunity to talk confidentially in a supportive, sympathetic, non-judgmental, empathic atmosphere, to a qualified, experienced listener.

Internet Counselling offers the same benefits and can be done from your own home. The problem is e.mailed or sent by post and a communication is established through which the Counsellor provides a different perspective for consideration and offers techniques for dealing with the problem. The techniques offered could vary depending on the Counsellor consulted but all the Counsellors will be qualified and experienced.

Whatever the problem is there is a solution for it. A professional counsellor can help find the solution.
