Electro-Crystal Therapy
There are now many complementary therapies available to help people deal with health problems. The common link between these therapies is that they all share the concept of a subtle energy, which runs through the body.
This energy links the physical, emotional and psychological aspects of ourselves and if this energy is in balance, then our stress levels will be easier to control, our immune system will be strong and there will be less likelihood of developing an illness.
Electro-Crystal Therapy provides a way of checking how balanced our energy is and then treating any imbalances. This then enables our own in-built healing mechanisms to strengthen and begin to work more effectively.
How Was Electro-Crystal Therapy Developed?
Harry Oldfield is a scientist and inventor, living in Middlesex. 25 years ago he was investigating the human energy field, using a technique called Kirlian photography. This technique enables a picture to be taken of living energy fields and Harry began to observe how illness and disease affect these energy fields.
He discovered that evidence of illness often appears in the energy field, before symptoms appear in the body. So he began to investigate -
a) If it was possible to re-balance the energy field before symptoms arose, thereby avoiding developing an illness
b) If, by re-balancing the energy of a person with an illness, a healing effect could be obtained
As a result of these investigations, Harry developed methods of scanning the body’s energy field and ways in which to treat any imbalances, which may be present.
So How Does It Work?
Electro-Crystal Therapy uses crystals stimulated by pulsed, high frequency electro-magnetic waves, generated by a battery operated unit. The crystals are contained in a sealed glass or plastic tube (electrode), containing a saline solution, which conducts the pulsed waves. It is well known that pulsed high frequency treatment can be helpful for pain management, but Harry found that the addition of the crystals increased the effectiveness.
He also found that different areas of the body respond to different frequencies. He designed the equipment to provide a range of treatment frequencies which can be used to calm, balance or stimulate areas of the body as required.
What Happens In A Treatment Session?
At the first session, the practitioner scans the patient using a special diagnostic meter. This enables the practitioner to assess the extent of any problem and decide which areas of the body need treatment.
NB – Both the scanning process and any subsequent treatment take place with the patient fully clothed.
During the treatment, the patient sits comfortably in a chair. The electrode(s) containing the crystals are placed over the area(s) to be treated, often being held in place by the patient’s clothes. e.g. if an arm requires treatment, the electrode may be tucked into the sleeve of a garment.
Initially, the practitioner may sit with the patient to discuss the problem, but it is often helpful for the patient to be left alone to relax and absorb the electro-magnetic frequencies. Most people find it a very gentle and relaxing treatment.
The length of treatment varies, depending on the severity of the problem and the patient’s own general level of vitality. However, a typical session lasts about 1 hour.
At subsequent sessions the patient is scanned again to check on changes in energy levels. Adjustments to treatment areas and frequencies are made where necessary.
What kind Of Conditions Can Electro-Crystal Therapy Help?
In broad terms, all illness is the result of an energy imbalance. So it follows that, by re-balancing the energy, any condition may be helped. However, in life nothing is that straightforward and some people may respond more favourably than others.
Over the years, Harry Oldfield has worked with people experiencing a wide variety of disorders, including migraine, eye disorders, multiple sclerosis, cancer, chronic fatigue, stroke recovery, with a noticeably good success rate.
Animals have also been helped and there are vets who have trained in the Electro-Crystal Therapy and use it as part of their treatment program.
The School of Electro-Crystal Therapy, which is affiliated to the Institute of Complementary Medicine, holds regular introductory days and training courses.
They can be contacted on Tel: 020 8841 1716, or click here www.electrocrystal.com to visit their web site.
There are now more than 100 qualified Electro-Crystal Therapy practitioners throughout the U.K. and abroad. A list of practitioners can be obtained from the School – please send a stamped addressed envelope.
